The Snow Leopard Eco Fest festival is a social and ecological event aimed at raising awareness of the problem of snow leopard conservation and ecotourism development. The main goal is to attract the attention of the public, business and authorities to the need to protect the rare predator and sustainable nature tourism.

The snow leopard is a symbol of nature, ecotourism, ecology and traditions.
The festival is dedicated to the preservation of the snow leopard - one of the rarest and most majestic predators on the planet. We join forces to remind about the importance of environmental protection, support the development of ecotourism and preserve the cultural heritage of the nomadic peoples of Kyrgyzstan.

The main idea

"Snow Leopard Eco Fest" is an annual social and ecological festival, the purpose of which is to attract the attention of society, authorities and business to the need to protect the snow leopard and sustainable nature tourism. We hold the festival in unique natural locations of Kyrgyzstan, where each participant can become part of positive changes. In 2025, the meeting place will be the picturesque jailoo of Karala-Archa.

Why is the snow leopard so important ?

The snow leopard is not just a symbol of nature, it is an indicator of the health of mountain ecosystems. Its disappearance can disrupt the ecological balance, affect vegetation, animal populations and the quality of human life. In 2023, the snow leopard was officially recognized as the national symbol of the Kyrgyz Republic, and October 23 became International Snow Leopard Day on the initiative of Kyrgyzstan. Its protection is our common task.

Ecotourism: the path to harmony with nature
